Featuring Phil Thompson & Special Guest Scott Dorff on Sax

WCCO TV’s “Man About Town” and Kawai-endorsed international touring piano performer & vocalist Phil Thompson makes his debut performance at the Plymouth Playhouse with his incredible concert, “Piano Man!” Joining Phil is Scott Dorff on saxophone. Featured are piano hits from Ray Charles’ Hit the Road Jack, Jerry Lee Lewis’ Great Balls of Fire, and Nat King Cole’s L‑O‑V‑E through more contemporary artists like Elton John’s Your Song and Billy Joel’s Piano Man.

When not performing in his home of the Twin Cities, Phil continues touring the globe at venues including the MGM Grand Macau in China, Mandalay Bay and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and dozens of high-profile sporting events including the US Open Tennis Tournament in NYC for 3 years in a row as well as the Rogers Cup in Toronto and Shanghai Rolex Masters. Phil has also headlined on several specialty-themed cruise events, most recently on the “Wine, Dine & Music Cruise” (as spotlighted in USA Today) with Kenny Loggins and Three Dog Night. Phil has also served as an opening act for artists including David Foster, Brian McKnight, The Canadian Tenors, Charice, and Clay Aiken to name a few.
